Soyou Comes to Phoenix Monday for Her First Arizona Fan Meeting and Live Performance
The SISTAR vocalist will appear at The Churchill on September 28 for live performances, fan interactions, photo opportunities, games, and more.
Arizona K-pop fans still have time to catch Soyou in Phoenix.
The SISTAR vocalist and solo artist will make her first appearance in Arizona on Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at The Churchill in downtown Phoenix for a special fan meeting and live performance hosted by UwU Con and Trinity MS.
Unlike a traditional concert, the event is built around giving fans a more personal experience with Soyou. Depending on the ticket tier, attendees can take part in live performances, meet-and-greet opportunities, photo-ops, games, and receive a signed photocard souvenir.
With the event only days away, it is a rare opportunity for Arizona fans to see an artist who has been part of K-pop for more than 15 years in a much more intimate setting.
From SISTAR to Soyou
Soyou debuted with SISTAR in 2010, becoming known for her distinct husky vocal tone and emotional delivery.
Alongside her work with SISTAR, Soyou built an extensive catalog of collaborations that became some of the most recognizable releases of her career.
Her collaborations include “Stupid in Love” with Mad Clown, “Some” with Junggigo, and “RAIN” with Baekhyun.
“Some,” in particular, became one of the defining songs of Soyou’s career outside of SISTAR and helped establish her as a vocalist who could move easily between K-pop, R&B, ballads, and collaborative releases.
Soyou has also become closely associated with Korean drama soundtracks, contributing music to series including Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, where she performed “I Miss You.”
Following SISTAR’s activities, Soyou officially launched her solo career in December 2017 with THE 1st SOLO ALBUM PART.1 RE.
She has continued releasing music as a solo artist through projects including Summer Recipe and “Farewell Everyday,” while remaining active across Korean television and online content.
Soyou also connects directly with fans through her YouTube channel Soyougi, which has grown to more than 440,000 subscribers.
A Different Kind of K-pop Experience in Phoenix
For Arizona fans, Monday’s event offers something different from the usual concert experience.
Instead of watching Soyou from across an arena or theater, fans will be able to experience her music in a smaller setting while also participating in activities designed specifically around artist and fan interaction.
