The Mikan Box may use approved press photos, artwork, press releases, biographies, and other materials supplied by authorized representatives when reporting on artists and releases.
The Mikan Box is an independent music publication covering music, live entertainment, artists, festivals, and culture. We aim to publish accurate, original, and transparent editorial coverage while maintaining respectful relationships with artists, readers, and the music industry.
Editorial Independence
Coverage decisions and editorial opinions belong to The Mikan Box and its contributors. Receiving media access, review tickets, photo credentials, promotional materials, or other accommodations does not guarantee positive coverage.
Reviews & Media Access
Complimentary tickets, credentials, or other media access may be provided for editorial purposes. When appropriate, relevant access or accommodations may be disclosed to readers.
Accuracy & Corrections
We aim to accurately represent artists, events, releases, quotes, credits, dates, and other factual information. Substantive errors brought to our attention will be reviewed and corrected when appropriate.
Interviews
Interview quotes are presented in context and may be edited for clarity, length, and readability without intentionally changing the speaker's meaning.
Photography
Our photographers follow venue, promoter, artist, and tour photography policies associated with approved media access.
