SB19’s Josh Cullen Teams Up With Jay Park for New Single “Like Me”
The P-pop and Korean R&B worlds are crossing over as Josh Cullen recruits Jay Park for his September 24 comeback, announced just one day after Park brought his Serenades & Body Rolls tour to Phoenix.

Josh Cullen of SB19 has officially revealed that his upcoming solo single “Like Me” will feature Jay Park, bringing together two artists from very different corners of the Asian music scene.
1Z Entertainment revealed the collaboration on September 21, confirming that “Like Me” will arrive Thursday, September 24. Josh kept his own reaction pretty simple, reposting the announcement with one word: “Mobbed.”
The collaboration adds a pretty major name to Josh’s latest solo chapter.
Jay Park has spent years moving between Korean hip-hop, R&B and pop, while Josh has developed a solo identity that often pulls away from the brighter P-pop sound casual listeners might associate with SB19.
That makes this pairing feel less random than it might initially sound.
Josh’s solo catalog has leaned into darker pop, hip-hop, rock and electronic influences since he debuted outside SB19 with “WILD TONIGHT” in 2023. His first solo album, Lost & Found, followed in 2024 with tracks including “1999,” “Silent Cries,” “See Me,” “Honest” and “Sumaya.”
Jay Park, meanwhile, has spent much of his career living somewhere between smooth R&B and hip-hop. Songs like “All I Wanna Do,” “MOMMAE” and “GANADARA” have shown different sides of that range, which leaves quite a few possibilities for what “Like Me” could actually sound like.
For now, 1Z is keeping that part of the surprise intact.
What we do know is that Josh is not waiting long to bring the song to a stage.
He will hold his Like Me solo showcase on September 26 at Samsung Hall inside SM Aura Premier in Taguig City, where he is scheduled to perform the new material live. The showcase was first announced on September 17 as Josh continued teasing the comeback through a series of cryptic visuals.
The collaboration also creates a fun connection between P-pop and an artist who has already shown some love to SB19.
Jay Park previously joined the group’s “Dungka!” TikTok dance challenge and publicly wished SB19 well during its Simula at Wakas world tour. Now that relationship is turning into an actual release.
And the timing is especially interesting from our side of things.
Jay Park was literally in Phoenix last night.
His Serenades & Body Rolls tour hit Arizona Financial Theatre on September 20 with LNGSHOT, the rookie group under his MORE VISION label, joining him as special guest.
Less than a day later, fans woke up to a new Filipino-Korean collaboration with his name attached.
There is also a bigger story happening across SB19 right now.
Josh is the final member of the group to release new solo music in 2026. FELIP released “Sulfur,” Justin followed with “Dahon,” Pablo released “Usad,” and Stell returned with “Crazy.”
All of that individual activity is happening while SB19 continues expanding internationally as a group, making the members’ solo projects feel less like side quests and more like different pieces of the larger P-pop movement.
Josh bringing Jay Park into that picture is another interesting step.
We still need to hear the song before deciding whether the combination actually works, but on paper, this is one of the more unexpected Asian music collaborations announced this month.
