[Performance Drop] SAY MY NAME Shines Bright in New “iLy” Video

SAY MY NAME (세이마이네임) has officially delivered the summer energy with their newly released performance video for iLy, the title track from their first single album. Dropping on August 1, 2025, at 6 PM KST, iLy marks the group’s first comeback as a full eight-member lineup following the addition of Shuie in July.

The track is a refreshing blend of dance-pop and UK garage influences, weaving in a clever nod to Frankie Valli’s classic Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. It’s nostalgic without feeling dated, balancing breezy melodies with a chorus that’s pure serotonin. The performance video captures that same energy, pairing crisp choreography with a backdrop of bright skies and open spaces that feel tailor-made for summer playlists.

Fans were quick to notice the group’s tighter stage chemistry. Each member brings their own color to the performance — from Hitomi’s polished presence to Shuie’s fresh energy — making the visual dynamic from start to finish. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments praising the “powerful yet refreshing” vibe and the way the choreography flows naturally with the song’s upbeat mood.

iLy is already making waves commercially. On its first day, the single broke the group’s own record by selling over 29,000 copies on Hanteo, solidifying SAY MY NAME as a rookie group on the rise.

For those new to them, SAY MY NAME debuted on October 16, 2024, under iNKODE Entertainment with the EP Say My Name and lead single WaveWay. The group now consists of eight members: Hitomi, Shuie, Mei, Kanny, Soha, Dohee, Junhwi, and Seungjoo. Their expanding discography and evolving performance style continue to set them apart in a competitive rookie landscape.

If iLy is any indication, SAY MY NAME is heading into their first anniversary with momentum and a clear vision of who they are as performers. Whether you’ve been with them since debut or you’re just tuning in, now’s the perfect time to jump on board.
