ONE OK ROCK Celebrate 20 Years With A DECADE OF GREATEST HITS, Arriving October 30

After two decades of taking Japanese rock far beyond its borders, ONE OK ROCK are celebrating their 20-year career with a new greatest hits collection.

The Japanese rock powerhouse will release ONE OK ROCK: A DECADE OF GREATEST HITS on October 30 through Fueled by Ramen/Atlantic Records. The 18-track collection looks back at the band's international rise over the past decade while also giving fans something completely new with the previously unreleased track "Fever."

The release will also mark another milestone for ONE OK ROCK, becoming the band's first album to receive a worldwide vinyl release, with multiple variants planned for the collection.

Twenty Years of ONE OK ROCK

Formed in Tokyo in 2005, ONE OK ROCK have grown from Japan's live house scene into one of the country's most internationally recognized rock acts.

The current lineup of Taka on vocals, Toru on guitar, Ryota on bass, and Tomoya on drums has spent the past two decades building an audience that extends well beyond Japan. Along the way, the band has earned international gold and platinum certifications, accumulated billions of streams, and scored six consecutive Top 5 albums in Japan, including three No. 1 debuts.

But numbers only tell part of the story.

ONE OK ROCK's international success has come from their ability to move between Japanese and global rock scenes without completely losing the identity that made them stand out in the first place. Their music has pulled from emo, post-hardcore, pop, alternative rock, and massive arena-ready sounds, often pairing those influences with emotionally driven lyrics and performances designed for much bigger stages.

That evolution can be heard throughout A DECADE OF GREATEST HITS.

Rather than covering the band's entire 20-year discography, the collection focuses on the period beginning with 35xxxv and follows ONE OK ROCK through their increasingly international era and into 2025's DETOX.

For longtime listeners, that means songs such as "Cry Out," "Heartache," "We Are," "Taking Off," "Wasted Nights," "Stand Out Fit In," and "Renegades" all appear together on the same release.

More recent tracks including "Delusion:All," "Dystopia," "+Matter," and "Puppets Can't Control You" era material represented by the DETOX period help show just how much the band's sound has continued to evolve.

At the center of the collection is "Fever," a brand-new track opening the album and giving fans their first piece of new music tied to this anniversary release.

From Tokyo Live Houses to Stadiums

The greatest hits announcement arrives during a period where ONE OK ROCK's scale as a live band has become difficult to ignore.

Over the years, the group has toured and shared stages with major international rock acts including Linkin Park, Muse, and Evanescence, while building their own arena and stadium audiences around the world.

That journey recently brought them to one of their biggest hometown stages yet.

Earlier this year, ONE OK ROCK released the concert film Live From DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025 alongside a six-track live EP. The performance was recorded at Nissan Stadium in Japan in front of approximately 70,000 fans, capturing a massive hometown show from the band's DETOX era.

Their 11th studio album, DETOX, arrived in 2025 and continued ONE OK ROCK's push toward a larger, genre-blending sound built around arena-sized hooks while maintaining the emotional intensity that has followed the band throughout its career.

Now, A DECADE OF GREATEST HITS puts that era alongside some of the songs that helped get them there.

Celebrating the Past While Still Moving Forward

Calling this a greatest hits album almost undersells what the track list represents.

Songs like "Heartache" and "Cry Out" come from a very different point in ONE OK ROCK's career than "Renegades," "Vandalize," or "Delusion:All." Hearing those eras collected together creates something closer to a timeline of the band's transformation from an already successful Japanese rock group into a genuinely global act.

And after 20 years, ONE OK ROCK aren't treating the anniversary like an ending.

Putting a new song at the very beginning of the collection makes that pretty clear.

ONE OK ROCK: A DECADE OF GREATEST HITS arrives October 30, 2026, with digital and physical editions planned alongside the band's first worldwide vinyl release.
